I loved doing this piece! I got the bark from the local beach and fitted them around, and they came out wonderfully! Because they weren’t flat on the bottom there are a few secret caves dotted around. All 3 together look incredible!

I used a new resin dye so the colour depth is amazing 🙂

I love this one. I used a bath mesh sponge on this to squish the colours. I killed the sponge, and I absolutely killed it with this artwork! The gold and copper highlights don’t show in a photo but should show in a vid. I think it looks like a bird achieving nirvana!

I’ve had wicked Artist’s block, but now that all my pigments have arrived I’m back into it again! I’m colourblind, but not in the normal way. I have another cone so I see *more* colours, not less, which drives my boyfriend mad when I’m trying to get him to take a picture of the moon with an aura or a raindrop on a plant. Sigh. I suck at photography myself, so painting is the best way to do it.

So here’s a painting I did of a tree in the sunset hours. Fragging beautiful. I used highlights of gold and copper which don’t turn up in a photo, but I’ll take a video which should show it in all it’s splendour!
